 If I had enough time

If I had enough time,

I’d write every song about love

Of joy and sorrow and pain

Of mysteries below and above

Of sunshine, of cloud,  and of rain

 

But I only have this moment…

 

If I had enough time,

I’d go to a thousand places

I’d chase every dream I can dream

I’d look on a billion faces

I’d make the world bright til it gleams

 

But I only have this moment…

 

If I had enough time,

I’d try every food I am craving

I’d play every game I find fun

I’d dwell in the moments I’m saving

I’d just do it all, every one

 

But I only have this moment

 

If I had enough time

I’d visit the people I miss

I’d finish the tasks uncompleted

I’d linger in every long kiss

I’d go through this life undefeated

 

But I only have this moment

 

So…

 

I’ll give every moment its glory

Every road that I take on the way

Let God write the rest of my story

And live to the fullest each day.
