I Long For A Place

I long for a place

Where the bluebird feels no cold

Where the Stars retain their sparkle

Where the newness won’t get old.

I long for a place

Where music never sours

Where joy is always surging

And beauty ever flowers.

I long for a place

Where peace is ever present

Where kindness is a constant

Where all are good and pleasant.

I long for a place

Where hello is all you hear

Where reunion is forever

And there’s nothing more to fear.

I long for a place

Where our eyes will see His glory

Where angels join our worship

Where we always hear the story.

I long for a place

Where Jesus will receive us

Where God will be among us

Where nothing will deceive us.

I long for that place

Where my thoughts often roam

Where my heart is invested

The place I call home.
