Eternity Calls

Eternity calls, 

Clarion voice resounding, quiet whisper pounding,

On this aching spirit, the more that I grow near it.

Eternity calls,

Restless soul awaking, newness in the making,

Fills my heart’s desire, ablaze with holy fire.

Eternity calls,

Dropping all insistence, denying my resistance,

All my will forsaken, upward path I’ve taken.

Eternity calls,

Breath of life inhaling, Holy light prevailing,

Darkness torn asunder, voice as loud as thunder.

Eternity calls,

Heaven’s gate inviting, loved ones reuniting,

Creation disappearing, Eternity is nearing.

Eternity calls,

The voice of Bride and Spirit, listen if you hear it,

“Come” you souls believing, eternal life receiving.

Eternity calls… Lord, I’m ready.
