When You're Walking in the Light
1 John 1:6-7
6 If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
When you’re walking in the light
By Michael Orr
The fire is most inviting
When the air outside is coldest
The breeze is most refreshing
When the sun is at its boldest
The light within the darkness
Is brightest in the night
For the world will all take notice
When you’re walking in the light
The Mountain View is greatest
When you’re standing on its peak
And the world seems much more peaceful
When you walk among the meek
The eagle finds its glory
At the apex of its flight
For you’ll see the greatest wonders
When you’re walking in the light
The river drinks its fullness
At the mouth it runs into
And the bees rush to their honey
When they taste the morning dew
The soul longs for its maker
Bestowed with Holy sight,
For The Lord is your desire
When you’re walking in the light
The universe awakens
At the dawning of the day
The stars renew their sparkle
As the dark takes light away
And the brightness of your spirit
Will glow with Heaven’s Might
For your heart renews its purpose
When you’re walking in the light
